This clamp can be used to secure in between solar panels - called a mid clamp for this reason. They are used in pairs - 2 mid clamps per panel. Use the dimension 8mm (the bottom of the head of the screw to the top of the clamping region (11.5-3.5=8mm) to work out the length of screw required to secure your panel. See the detailed drawing for these dimensions. They are designed to be used with a DIN 912 socket screw
